28.5 oz. olive oil
15 oz. Shea Butter
4.5 oz. castor oil
18 fluid oz. (2.25 cups) coconut milk
6.06 oz. lye
1 Tbsp of sodium lactate to coconut milk before the lye
Freeze the coconut milk before hand. Add slowly to the lye. (It doesn’t seem to burn as easily as goat or sheep’s milk.) Combine lye/milk and oils at 110 degrees. I like to use a stick blender for shorts spurts until trace . Add fragrance or additives at trace and insulate molded soap for 18-24 hours. This is a creamy soap and feels amazing on the skin.
