HAIR SMOOTHIE RECIPES
DAMAGED HAIR TREATMENT
- 1 can of pure coconut milk (moisturizes conditions and de-frizzes hair)
- 1 ripe organic avocado (protein)
- 2 tablespoon of shea butter (unrefined certified Grade A)
- 2 tablespoons of pure honey (conditions and adds sheen)
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil or castor oil
Directions:
Add ingredients to blender. Mix at high speed until it reaches a smoothie consistency. Store in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
Shea Butter Treatment Conditioner
Avocado
¼ CUP Distilled Water
¼ CUP Olive Oil
¼ Cup of Raw Unrefined Shea Butter (certified Grade A)
BLEND TOGETHER IN A BLENDER AND APPLY TO WET HAIR. LEAVE ON FOR 15 MINUTES. RINSE AND STYLE AS USUAL.
DEEP CONDITIONER
1 BANNANA
¼ CUP OF OLIVE OIL
¼ Cup of Raw Shea Butter
1 EGG WHITE
BLEND IN A MIXER FOR 2 TO 3 MINUTES AND APPLY TO WET HAIR FOR AN HOUR. YOU WILL HAVE SOFT AND SHINY MANAGEABLE HAIR
Hello, I am allergic to coconut & bananas. I’m not sure about avacados. Would you recommend substitutes in the Shea Butter Recipes published?

I wasn’t sure if you were asking for substitutes for Shea Butter or if Shea Butter was a suitable substitute for Coconut. Shea Butter or Mango butter are pretty similar in healing fraction. Also, remember when using any organic soap or natural soap to read the ingredient list since many soaps are made with Coconut Oil to get lather. You can also use Soybean Oil and Sunflower Oil.
